May 17-18, 2014 weekend

It’s a great weekend to be out and about in the community! The weather is beautiful and the sun is shining! Put on your sunscreen and head out the door…

Seguin is having it’s Cops and Kids Picnic this Saturday from 11-2 at the Max Starcke Park large pavilion. There will be music, food and games. A Hot Dog lunch is provided to free to kids under 12. Kids will even be given raffle tickets for a chance to win a bike! Kids are able to interact with police officers in the community and it’s a great way for children to see that officers are there to help protect them and others!

Gruene Market Days is in New Braunfels this weekend. There are nearly 100 vendors from crafts to foods! 10AM-5PM free admission and parking. Stroll through Gruene and enjoy live music, wine tasting, antique shopping and great food! Can’t get much better than that!

If you haven’t had enough of Gruene after a day of shopping and eating, head over to Gruene Hall Saturday evening for Cooder Graw. People love his fun and energetic performance! Doors open at 8:00PM with a $12 cover, Casey Berry opens.

Then Sunday, May 18th is the 18th Annual KNBT 92.1FM Americana Music Jam from 1-11PM, also at Gruene Hall. Buy tickets here.

Have a great weekend everyone! We certainly will!
